Forest Goblin Felt Sauna Hat

My sauna hats – which can also be worn at festivals or costume parties – are handmade, uniquely designed creations crafted from Australian Merino wool using the traditional wet felting technique. Like all of my designs, each hat is one of a kind, so any made-to-order piece will not be an exact replica of the original. This model is handcrafted from brown, green, and white felted wool, decorated with green, white, and yellow silk and viscose fibers, as well as felted wool balls. Its color palette is unisex, making it suitable for both women and men.

Wearing a felt sauna hat makes the intense 90–100°C heat of the sauna much easier to tolerate for longer periods by reducing the amount of heat absorbed by the head and brain. Felt provides more effective protection for the head and hair follicles than hats made from any other material. This hat comfortably fits head sizes 54–56, and custom sizes are available upon request.
